Frank is surprised by his father as he watches TV instead of studying. Frank is an 18 year old and struggles with his studies and so would really do better if he would pay more attention to studying. His father decides to punish him severely for the first time with a flogging. He receives 25 strokes of the cane, 50 lashes and 225 beltings. Frank suffers in silence not saying anything. At the end of his grueling ordeal he thanks his father and promises to concentrate more on his studies.
