The Master proceeds with great pleasure to give Angel an even harsher punishment, first with the bath brush and then with the hairbrush, both made of hard wood. This is all interspersed with painful and sound spankings delivered by hand while he languishes over the Master's knee. This latest punishment seems like it might be taking Angel well past his usual endurance levels, this surely will not be one punishment he easily forgets.
